the bolts are going to be playing with the same desperation that the pens were on friday. pens cant make the same mistake the panthers did and think the game will come easy. its good to see them win one but id still like to see guys other than malkin and neal score. i just dont like depending on 2 guys to score everynight |

Ryan Malone has been such a disappointment. 8 goals this year is hardly worth $4.5 million. I wish he would be a FA sooner than later and the Pens could bring him back at a seriously reduced rate. I think Ryan would jump at that opportunity since he screwed up so badly the first time around. Not to mention his wife was SMOKING from what I can remember. Anyone got a good pic/story about her? |

If Colby Armstrong wasn't out with the dreaded concussion, I'd say trade TK to TO for Colby. Let's have a huge family reunion! What's Hossa up to these days?... |

F hossa!! If anyone is looking for a good restaurant go to meat and potatoes on Penn Ave. Went there last night it was awesome. Also saw letang there he seemed fine to me. Had about 6 drinks from my estimation. Surprised he didn't make the trip |

Hmm. Usually don't eat downtown (or go there ever) but maybe I'll check it out when I go see 'Brit Floyd' next month. General American fare or something else? |

Who knew the mention of Colby & Hossa could bring about such hatred and food restaurant reviews? Guess the hate for Malone has gone by the wayside? |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but not everyone needs to have "Contact" added back at the same rate as Sid did in his return. I swear they said that Letang WILL PLAY next week and not just add the contact step. |

I love bugsy. Don't really blame him for leaving I believe he got traded. Thought shero could have locked him up the year prior to like 2.5-3 per but didn't. Kind of like the Talbot situation minus the flyerz |

The team needs to jump on the Bolts early. They are down and struggling get a quick one and be physical with St. Louis. Learn from the playoffs where they didn't hit him once and put him down a few times. Make him earn it. |

Not yet. I had the flat iron steak it was one of the best steaks I ever had. Apparently letang eats there like 3 to 4 days a week. |

$4.5 per is absurd! I think Malone could be gotten out of TB relatively cheap, but his cap hit almost eliminates the Pens. I'd say trade Paul Martin, but I've always felt he would be traded in order to free up $$$ for James Neal this offseason. Trading him for Malone would make the salaries almost a wash. |

No, hate the Pens (as a Caps fan, how can I not) but like the back and forth with most of the Pens fans on here. Steve Hindle the Caps blogger does a nice job, but there is little participation on here from Caps fans so I wander around a bit, mainly here. |

I wonder if Boucher survives the season if things continue as they are. The Bolts were uninspired for the better part of the game against the Caps on Friday, then came on late and almost tied it up. Funny how things change - Yzerman was a genius last year (overrated, in my opinion, largely because of the Olympics -- his "brilliance" hinged on Canada scoring an OT goal against the US in the Gold Medal Game -- if the US scores, Yzerman gets hammered) with the pickup of Roloson, now he is being criticized for not replacing Roloson. I'm just enjoying Tampa's struggles and hope they continue. |

i was pretty shocked they didnt go after a good goalie. give props to roloson for still chugging along at 42, but cmon, HES 42! the only bad thing about the bolts losing is that they will get a high draft pick in the upcoming draft. if they make some smart moves at the deadline or in the offseason they can be really good next year |

I expect that TB fires Boucher and receive some nice trades from Montreal for doing so... |

As far as Kennedy being a fluke last year, it was the first year he played over 70 games (he hit 80) and he had 7 PPGs. He has not had nearly as much PP ice time so far (you can argue Neals 11 PPGs cut into Kennedys, not that you would put Kennedy over Neal) and would be having a lot better year if we had 3 centers healthy. I still think $2 million is a bargain. No he's not having the year you would hope, but he will get a few more bounces here soon. |
